Can a healthy diet lead to a stronger and clearer mind, body, and help us be better at building strong, healthy relationships?
This documentary and the healthy vegetarian diet recommended reminds me of Abdu'l-Baha's encouragement of a healthy vegetarian diet. I've read that it can help people reduce their anger and agitation (good for relationship building!) and also be stronger and more fit (also good) and help their minds be clearer (all good). Here is more information about a book, a documentary and several websites. |

Dear "Juice Feasters",
November 14 is World Diabetes Day. As you may know, I was Research Assistant to Dr. Gabriel Cousens on our groundbreaking work, There is a Cure for Diabetes. What we show you in the book is that Type-2 Diabetes is completely reversible (it is actually a crisis of culture as much as it is a crisis of diet/nutrition),and those with Type-1 diabetes can significantly reduce or completely eliminate their use of oral hypoglycemics and insulin.
Sadly, diabetes organizations worldwide still claim that diabetes is "incurable," as opposed to letting diabetics know they can live normal lives in a non-diabetic physiology.
DOCUMENTARY: SIMPLY RAW: REVERSING DIABETES IN 30 DAYS
Everyone loves film, Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days, which was filmed at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center where I worked as Research Assistant, Fasting Coach, and taught the academic portion of the apprenticeships for Dr. Gabriel Cousens. Simply Raw tracks participants in Dr. Cousens' diabetes program, watching them go through the hero's journey of reversing diabetes with a Raw/Live plant-based approach. Here is the preview:

This film shows 6 diabetics moving through 30 days of eating only raw, living foods. See the film for yourself before you decide what the best solution is for reversing diabetes.
With peaceful steps,
