The Fast - Man, is it good

Hi - This year it's better than ever. 19th one.

Here's how it works:

• 5:30am - wake up, shower, pray etc
• 6:00am - go next door to Sandy's - she's got breakfast ready! ham, eggs, strawberries, toast, milk, coffee (if desired), lots of water, other fruits, veggies, cereal if you need it. I like a sandwhich with eggs and ham and lots of water and strawberries.
• about 6:30 (whenever the sun comes up): stop eating and drinking for about 12 hours until sundown, wash dishes, and say prayers together - for everyone and everybody. Well, specific things too: healing, spiritual growth, the fast - and improving during it and onward...
• We also read from several books including:
• Can We Dance? - a book on being wise about yourself and choosing a marriage partner. Like a dance partner. Try it, you'll like it. Click the link to order!
• The other one is great, too. A series of letters that Baha'u'llah wrote to individual world leaders like Pope Pius IX, Napoleon III, Czar Alexander II, Queen Victoria and NasiridDin Shah - was incorporated into this book. It was around 1868 (before and after) that "He summoned the monarchs of the East and West collectively, and smoe amont them individually, to recognize the Day of God and to acknowledge the One promised in the scriptures of the religions professed by the recipients of His summons."
