Attracting Genuine Love: A Step-By-Step Program to Bringing a Loving and Desirable Partner into Your Life

Sharing books and activities that may be helpful in an effort to reduce blindness about love and marriage and increase unity:

And mutual help to improve the spiritual life of each other:

"The true marriage of Bahá'ís is this, that husband and wife should be united both physically and spiritually, that they may ever improve the spiritual life of each other, and may enjoy everlasting unity throughout all the worlds of God."

-- 'Abdu'l-Bahá, Selections From the Writings of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, p. 118
Quote found on Warwick site with other very nice quotations on marriage.
Quotes can also be found on:
Baha'i Reference Library.

Interesting exercise in the book - where you repeat a phrase:

"I [insert your name here] consciously commit to creating lasting love in my life."

and notice changes in your body and feelings about it.  Sometimes fear - I felt different things in my head, heart then stomach initially.

You can place a hand on your head and a hand on your heart -  while saying it (ideas borrowed from EFT and from Body Talk).
The idea is to work through the feelings and keep thinking and really accepting and feeling the conscious commitment.

Book can be found on Google BooksAmazon, and more....
QUESTION: Anyone have experience reading this book and doing the exercises and reflecting on the goals of  "a true marriage of Baha'is"?
