Last year I noted that one friend would enthusiastically skype with his lady (they lived in 2 different countries for most of their dating before they married) regularly. And he would often bring his family members to greet her so they could also build a relationship together. They are now back in the US visiting with these family members. Hope it's going great.
Things to think about - and of course these are great practices for both genders....
