Healthy Baha'i Marriage and Family Life Workshop, London

Healthy Baha'i Marriage and Family Life Workshop, London

A workshop on creating healthy Baha'i marriages and family life is being offered by Dr. H.B. Danesh in London, UK, 2-3 June 2012.

The focus of this educational workshop is centred on issues of marriage, family, and parenting. Participants will learn how our views and habits about marital, family, and parenting roles through our life experiences, our education, and our role models shape us. Furthermore, bringing together people of different ages who are in various phases of their marital and family life adds to the cumulative reservoir of knowledge and experience present at the workshop.

Healthy Marriage and Family Life workshops are suitable for all types of participants. These workshops have been found useful by the previous participants regardless of whether they were planning to get married, were recently married, or already had a family with one or more children. The workshop is strictly an educational event and not suitable for those who wish to receive counselling and therapy for their marriages and families. Participants have an opportunity to learn the nature and dynamics of healthy marriage and family and reflect on their relevance to their own unique situations. Members of different professions dealing with marriage and family have also found these workshops to be valuable to their work.

The seminar will be held on Sat, 2nd June and Sun, 3rd June at the National Baha'i Centre, 27 Rutland Gate, London.

Interested participants are required to register by emailing at: marriageandfamilyseminar@hfbahai.org.uk  by Saturday, 12 May 2012 indicating names and contact number of all participants being registered. For more information, contact Dina Momen at tel: +44 - 07867 507270.
